Exterior Lighting Installation with Gemstone Lights
Permanent, programmable exterior lighting for your home or business, elegant architectural light any night of the year, and vibrant holiday colors at the tap of an app. No ladders, no tangled strands, ever again.
What Is Permanent Programmable Lighting?
Permanent exterior lighting is a discreet track of high-quality LED points installed once along your roofline, eaves, and architectural features, and then controlled entirely from an app on your phone. The fixtures are sleek and low-profile, so in daylight you barely notice them. At night, they become whatever you want: warm white accent lighting that highlights your home’s lines, or millions of colors and animations for a holiday, a party, or game day.
It replaces two things at once. It’s the permanent upgrade to traditional landscape and architectural lighting, and it’s the end of climbing a ladder every December to hang Christmas lights, then taking them down in the cold in January. Installed by Near Me Exteriors and backed by Gemstone Lights, it’s designed for our Capital Region weather: built to handle snow, ice, and heat, and to keep working season after season.

I recently hired Near Me Softwash to clean the exterior of my house, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and incredibly thorough. They took great care around my landscaping and made sure every part of the house looked spotless by the time they finished. The soft washing made a huge difference, my siding looks brand new again. Great service, fair pricing, and easy communication from start to finish. I’ll definitely be using them again and recommending them to neighbors.

The team at Near Me Softwash is professional, punctual, thorough and friendly. They recently provided a softwash service on my home’s vinyl siding and the results were remarkable. They washed away the last few years of dirt and buildup and the siding looks new again. They were careful around landscaping and windows and left everything clean and tidy. The difference is night and day and I’ve already had neighbors comment on how fresh the house looks. Thank you guys! Highly recommend.

I work at a law firm that is on the 2nd floor and it is all windows! Near Me Softwash took on the job and made all 100 windows inside and out sparkle! They are meticulous and very professional. A real pleasure to do business with. They let me know how things were going every step of the way. I would highly recommend!!!

These guys are awesome. They came when they said they would. They carefully moved my belongings out of the way to perform their work. After they were done with the soft wash they extra rinsed my vegetation around the house so the solution did not harm my plants (just in case). It’s refreshing to see a few young men working hard to build their business. Great job guys!

H2OBX Waterpark had Near Me Softwashes get all our outside buildings ready for the season. They also did a great job refreshening up the outside pool furniture. The project took several days. They worked efficiently, communicated professionally and ensured we were pleased with the outcome. This is a big job coming out of winter hibernation and we would not only recommend them but also would plan to use them again.

Permanent Lighting vs. Hanging Holiday Lights Every Year
Every December the same routine: drag out the tangled strands, test for dead bulbs, climb an icy ladder, and hope it holds until January, when you do it all again in reverse. Traditional holiday lights also mean replacing strands that fail, storing them all year, and settling for whatever colors you bought.
Permanent programmable lighting solves all of it. It’s installed once, professionally and safely, and hidden in daylight. When the holidays come, you switch to red-and-green (or any colors) from your phone, no ladder, no tangles. The same system gives you warm architectural lighting the other eleven months, plus colors for Halloween, the 4th of July, a birthday, or game night. Exterior Lighting FAQs
Will the lights damage my roof or shingles?
No. Gemstone fixtures are installed along the eave/fascia track designed for the purpose, not nailed through shingles, and are built to handle Capital Region weather.
Can I see the lights during the day?
Barely, the low-profile design tucks into your roofline and is engineered to be discreet when off.
How do I control them?
Entirely from an app on your phone, colors, brightness, animations, schedules, and zones. We set it up and train you before we leave.
Can I use them for both everyday and holidays?
Yes, that’s the whole point. Warm architectural light most nights, festive colors for any holiday or event, all from the same system.
Are they energy efficient?
Yes. They use high-quality, low-draw LEDs designed to last for years.
Do you install for businesses too?
Yes, permanent lighting is popular with commercial properties for year-round branding and seasonal display.
